Pauline LockierPauline began her marketing career 26 years ago at Ogilvy and Mather Direct. After five years at Brann Direct Marketing she went on to found Target Direct Marketing (now Tangible and part of the Cello Group) with Stephen Pidgeon and Nick Thomas.

Today she works as a freelance planner and copywriter, handling fundraising programmes for charities in England, Ireland, the USA and New Zealand, as well as undertaking ad-hoc projects for commercial organisations and direct marketing agencies.

Writing to raise money for non-profit organisations is her passion, and she studies psychology, film and narrative to gain insights into making appeals more vivid, persuasive and compelling.  Pauline also runs group workshops and one-to-one tutorials for charities who wish to improve their in-house copywriting and fundraising skills.
